Oh yes... KFC... Kentucky Fried Chicken.

KFC was set up by the Colonel, Mr Harland Sanders who set about frying up his chicken from the roadside way back in the times of the Great Depression in the United States.  He opened his first KFC - as it became known - in Salt Lake Cuty in Utahin 1952 and he just kept on frying from then!
KFC made chicken a viable option in the fast-food industry, diversifying the market by challenging the well held dominance of the burger.  Mr Sanders branded himself as "Colonel Sanders", shrouded his tasty fried chicken in a mystery that only the colonel knows and the rest is history... Just like the chicken in the bucket when it hits our office desk!
